Dear Simone,

All prices etc are above, we are currently working on accommodation in the area, but for now I\'m afraid you\'ll have to find a guesthouse/ hotel for yourself.

It\'s a good point, and I\'ll get onto Baan Chang Thai about sorting something more definite out.

I hope you have a good time training in August.

August training

Hi , I am arriving in Bangkok on August 22. I would like to train with you there. Your 12 classes for 2400. Are the 2400 baht classes only held on Friday and Saturday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm ? Are the 10,000 baht private classes ( 12 in total) 2 hours each time ?

I know the Emporium shopping complex in Bangkok...how far are you from there by taxi in terms of time and Taxi fare ? What is the closest sky train to you ?

I look forward to training
Thank you very much

im coming to train here in a couple of months. i want to stay for a year to compete in ring sport. are there accomodations at the camp. is the open door policy 7 days a week. what is the difference between special classes and standard classes. how long can the classes be extended. is muay thai chaiya effective for ring sport. and can it be a substitute for modern muay thai camps?

Training Muay Chaiya

Hi man,

thank you very much for this website, I got many information about muay chaiya before flight to Thailand, I come every years in Thailand and now I\'m in. I met Kru Lek last week and I\'ll go to try tomorrow, What do you think about Kru Preang? And I know a third muay chaiya school in Bangkok www.sriwanachaiyarat.com. There are a lot of videos on youtube about this school and the Ajarn looks good, and his prices is cheaper than Kru Preang and Kru lek. I got some VCD about this school and it looks good teaching too.

I\'d like to have your opinion about that.

thank you to read me and hope that you\'ll answer me here or by email, it\'s up to you.

Muay thai or muay chaiya

I stumbled upon Muaychaiya & found it quite interestin& practical. Still I havnt decided whether to join chayyai camp in Chiangmai, or go for muay chaiya. Or perhaps go to chayyai then muay chaiya on the next vacation,or vice versa.

I\'m wonderin if u r familiar w BaanChangThai. if they hav accommodatn on or around their premises that\'s cheap. I\'ll take a mth off fr work&stay in thailand to train as a total beginner.

Btw, do u know Sri wana chaiya rat as well? Happen to come across their site, wonder if they are also a muay chaiya institute.. the site is mostly in thai lang.so I cldn\'t understand them (altho I do know some basic thai).. some really cool videos. Hope U can help, thx

Lack of response

Hey guys, sorry for no reply, the comments system on my site isn\'t notifying me of new comments :(

Please contact me directly at nathan@mymuaychaiya.com if you have direct questions.

But in brief as far as accommodation goes, there\'s a cheap hotel not far down the road which has rooms for 340 and 380THB per night. At the moment, there is no special accommodation organised, but hopefully this will be dealt with shortly.

I hope this helps!

I will NEVER be truly content until I learn all that I can learn about Muay Thai Chaiya and become a master of this ancient fighting art ! HOPEFULLY, I will acquire the right assistance from the right people and... HOPEFULLY... nobody will get in my way as it has been for the past several years ! YES ! YEARS ! I didn\'t just start being interested in this stuff yesterday or a few days ago ! This has been a lifelong childhood dream of mine since I was about 8 years old or so to learn this thing ! I SHOULD HAVE (keyword = SHOULD HAVE) been a master by now and teaching this art alongside other instructors such as the ones at \"Baanchangthai\" / บ้านช้างไทย ! If only you knew how it\'s been like for me, then and only then would you understand it all.
